Bourbon BBQ Bacon Meatball Sliders

Bourbon BBQ Bacon Meatball Sliders

When it comes to a slider, the game is tough. You could be so simple as to making a regular cheeseburger slider, or as extravagant as your mind will take you. I took a trip out to Logan, Utah to Blackstone HQ where I was able to collaborate with some of the best content creators and cooks there are today. For this cook, this dish was beautifully prepared by Erin Graves (@campinerin), Thomas Whitten (@blackstonecowboy), Steve Warriner (@stevie_stir_fry) and myself. I can promise you one thing- every single bite of this will make your eyes roll back and your heart sing.

Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef
1 bottle bourbon bbq sauce ( we used Yellowstone)
1 pack of bacon
1 bunch of parsley
1 pound cheddar cheese
1 pack Kings Hawaiian Rolls
2 Eggs
1 Cup breadcrumbs
Seasoning of choice (we used Star Spangled Seasoning)

Steps:

1. Mix beef, breadcrumb, eggs, and seasoning in a bowl. combine well and roll into 24 balls (enough for each roll). Chop parsley and place to side.

2. Turn griddle on medium heat and start cooking your bacon. Once cooked chop bacon into bits.

3. Without cleaning bacon grease, cook your meatballs in grease. Toss well until fully cooked

4. Take a portion of the sauce and pour over meatballs. Toss well

5. Heat sauce in a heat safe pan and place to side. Toast your Kings Hawaiian rolls and place those to side.

6. Once meatballs are full cooked, remove from heat and place one on each bun. Top with slice of cheese, bbq sauce, bacon bits, and extra sauce. Place top of bun on and dust with your favorite seasoning.

7. Serve and Enjoy
